Dr. Patricia Tordik is a Clinical Professor and Chief of Endodontics at the University of Maryland who practices within the faculty practice. Previously, she was Associate Dean of Graduate Dental Programs, Professor and Chair of Endodontics, at the Naval Postgraduate Dental School, and the Endodontics Specialty Leader to the Navy’s Surgeon General. Tordik earned a B.A. from Drew University, a D.M.D. from the University of Medicine and Dentistry, NJ, completed a GPR at the VAMC, Castle Point, NY, and endodontic residency at New York University. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics, a Fellow of the International College of Dentists, a member of the American Association of Endodontics, and the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. Tordik currently serves as the President of the Foundation for Endodontics. After 22 years of active-duty service, she retired as a Captain (O-6) from the U.S. Navy.
